Masterpieces - Pattern Sheet

'Masterpieces; pattern sheet' - rely on your own creativity, result assured; the masters preceded you.

The packaging includes one DIN A0 poster with 4 different patterns from which you can choose one to apply/use.'Masterpieces; pattern sheet' comes with a short description (in english, dutch and german).

1. Choose your favourite artwork, find a suitable spot and attach the pattern sheet there to the wall or to a board with appropriate dimensions.
2. Check whether you have sufficient nails and hammer in each of the numbered dots of the choosen pattern a nail through the poster.
3. String a thread or yarn from nail to nail in order of the numbers on the poster.
4. Tear away the poster – smaller sections are removed easily with a pair of tweezers.
5. Take a few steps back and enjoy your own “Masterpiece”.

Tip: By chosing the sort of nails and colour of the thread you can match your “Masterpiece” with the rest of your interior.

Hello Ulrike, I wanted to let you know that our home was recently toured on Apartment Therapy and the Masterpiece Pattern Sheet from Momantai Design that I used for my dining room was a big hit! I am writing about it on my blog tomorrow as well. Our family loves it, and my sister has ordered one for her own home in Chicago, hopefully many others will as well. There have been questions about the "The Girl With The Pearl Earring" string art on our dining room wall that I've been meaning to answer. I don't remember where I originally read about the masterpiece pattern sheet from momantai, because the minute I saw it I gasped and ordered (in that order). I have seen so much simple, yet gorgeous string art all over the web, in retail spaces like Anthropologie and at last year's Little Winter handmade market in Portland. It was on my list to attempt, so ordering this pattern sheet seemed a fantastically easy and logical kick in the pants to get me started. A frustrating reality of life is that a deep love for string art doesn't necessarily translate to natural string art flair. Thankfully the good folk at Mo Man Tai (no problem) Designs recognised this and produced a series of masterpiece pattern sheets. June 21, 2011 re-nest
