turtle - to rest is to rust... and rust can be very fashionable

This product illustrates (part of) an old proverb in a new way. The stylized rabbit and turtle silhouettes draw attention through their relative size and material choice. The use of Cor-Ten steel (*) as material for an accessory - a key chain - is new and sort of daring.

(*): Cor-Ten steel is a weathering steel alloy which due to its chemical composition forms a layer of rust on its surface which actually protects against further corrosion. The outer layer protects the surface by regenerating under influence of the weather and as such the steel is allowed to rust in order to form the 'protective' and visually appealling coating.
